Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to design printed circuit boards and electronic sub-assemblies. The candidate should have a solid understanding of the fundamental principles of electrical engineering, practical experience designing and building systems, and a willingness to get their hands dirty in the lab to solve problems.
Key Responsibilities
Work with customers and interdisciplinary teams to determine system requirements
Create block diagrams, select components for RF, analog, mixed signal, and digital circuits
Circuit design, schematic capture, PCB layout
PCB bring-up and lab testing - identify and solve problems
Work with interdisciplinary teams to build working first-of-a-kind systems
Requirements
At least eight years of experience designing electronic hardware
Experience with PCB CAD software, such as Altium Designer, Eagle, ORCAD, etc.
Experience with circuit simulation in SPICE, soldering, using test equipment
Familiarity with high-speed digital design, controlled impedance, crosstalk, signal integrity
Experience with board-level communication protocols (e.g. I2C, SPI, USB, PCI, etc.)
Excellent communication, computer, reporting, and analytical skills
Strong work ethic and organizational skills
Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
